The Smokin' Story
Friends since grade school, Jim Barber and Tom Jannarone played in The Smokin’ Jackets while attending Glassboro State College (Rowan University) together. Two and a half decades after performing their final college gig, Jim and Tom played a sold-out reunion show with original Smokin’ Jackets, Jorge Sandrini and Andy Pappas. The response was so overwhelming, the two life-long friends knew they had something special. However, Jorge and Andy lived many States away. So, Jim and Tom reformed the band and surrounded themselves with amazing and fun musicians to carry on the Smokin’ Jackets’ tradition of entertaining the masses while having a great time.
